At the heart of Wildings is the Sage family, whose passion for good food and warm Scottish hospitality has shaped the restaurant for generations.
Today, the next generation continues that tradition, combining everything guests have come to love about Wildings with a fresh approach for the future. Proud of their Ayrshire roots and their home in the beautiful village of Maidens, the family remain very much at the heart of Wildings – welcoming locals and visitors alike as they have done for many years.
The Village of Maidens
Nestled on the beautiful Ayrshire coast, Maidens is a charming seaside village with a rich maritime history and spectacular views across the Firth of Clyde towards Arran and Ailsa Craig.
Once home to a thriving fishing community, the village still has its picturesque harbour at its heart, while its long sandy beach leads towards the magnificent Culzean Castle and Country Park. With world-famous Turnberry just along the coast, Maidens is a wonderful place to slow down, explore and experience the very best of coastal Ayrshire.
